Thank you Turtle Talliers for reporting your sightings of nesting turtles!

So far we have been getting reports of Snapping turtles on the move, and nesting Painted and Map turtles. Make sure to watch out for these lovely ladies as they begin their epic journey to their nesting sites. Some times they will journey up to 7km away if its a Blanding’s Turtle…Wow!

Want to help a turtle cross the road? You can check out our blog story: Look out for Turtles on the Road (April 28th) to learn how to properly move a turtle, thereby giving her offspring a headstart in life!
