Check out this video link for a feel good story! Turtle advocates win their four year fight to lower the speed limit on a stretch of road frequently cross by turtles. Good job guys!

Turtles being hit on the road are one of the biggest factors that have led to the decline in turtle populations in Ontario. Most Ontario turtles take 15 years to reach reproductive age so once removed from the population will mean a long wait for another turtle to take its place.

Good job guys!
