Turtle Fencing for Kingston Turtles! The campaign will run until June 30th.

2011-05-25 (36)The City of Kingston will match dollar-for-dollar any donation, grant or other fund coming from any agency, organization or individual (whether private or public) to install fencing on Princess St. over the bridge near the Ambassador Hotel to protect the turtles from vehicles.

The goal of this fundraising campaign is to raise 50% ($31,000) of the total cost of the project ($61,200).

Turtles Kingston is a fundraising community group that is on the mission to raise the money for this project. With a little over $1000 raised so far they need your help to reach the $31 000 goal. All donations make a difference, no matter how small.  Additional community support has come from Brown’s Fine Foods who has graciously donated $5000 and Scott Environmental Group who will match all donations up to $2,500.
