Events: Don’t Miss Three Amazing Adopt-A-Pond Events Happening This October!

Rouge Park Hikes

Sunday, October 4th, 2015
Location Wetland Loop on Cedar Meet at Zoo Road
1749 Meadowvale Rd, Toronto, ON

Join Crystal from the Adopt-A-Pond Wetland Conservation Programme at the wetlands of Rouge Park with Parks Canada!

Learn more about the reptiles and amphibians that live in the wetlands and how they are all getting ready for winter.

Resources will be provided that will help you identify some of these creatures and find out how your observations can make a difference by reporting your sightings to Ontario Turtle Tally and Frog Watch Ontario.

You will also have the chance to see how we use radio tracking equipment to monitor the turtles that live in the area. With good weather, we will hopefully see a turtle or two!
