St. Elizabeth Catholic School’s Winning turtle
Congratulations to Mary Dalli’s grade 1 class at St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Bowmanville for winning the World Turtle Day School Challenge including free bus transportation and free admission to the Toronto Zoo!
GTA students from kindergarten to grade 8 participated with their classes to learn about turtles from around the world, and then create artistic versions of their favourite turtle species. Over 3000 Toronto Zoo visitors voted on the artwork at World Turtle Day (R) and selected the winning class at our May 23rd and 24th event!
